Please read these terms carefully before using our services

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the services provided by Little Moments Co ("we," "our," or "us"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

These terms of service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and services, including our children's event planning and related services provided throughout Canada.

2. Service Description

Little Moments Co provides professional children's event planning services, including but not limited to:

  • Birthday party planning and coordination
  • Themed event design and execution
  • Custom decoration and entertainment services
  • Event consultation and advisory services
  • Special milestone celebration planning

Our services are designed to create memorable and safe experiences for children and their families across Canada.

3. Booking and Payment Terms

All event bookings require a signed service agreement and payment of a non-refundable deposit. The deposit amount will be specified in your service agreement and is typically 50% of the total service fee.

Full payment is due no later than 7 days before the scheduled event date. We accept various payment methods including credit cards, bank transfers, and certified checks. Late payments may result in service modifications or cancellation.

All prices are quoted in Canadian dollars and are subject to applicable taxes. Additional charges may apply for services outside our standard service areas or for last-minute changes to event requirements.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Event cancellations must be made in writing and are subject to the following terms:

  • Cancellations made 30+ days before the event: 75% refund of payments made
  • Cancellations made 14-29 days before the event: 50% refund of payments made
  • Cancellations made 7-13 days before the event: 25% refund of payments made
  • Cancellations made less than 7 days before the event: No refund

The initial deposit is non-refundable in all circumstances. We understand that unexpected circumstances may arise, and we will work with clients to find reasonable solutions when possible.

5. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing accurate information about the event venue, guest count, special requirements, and any relevant details that may affect service delivery. This includes disclosure of any allergies, medical conditions, or behavioral considerations for attending children.

Clients must ensure that the event venue is accessible and suitable for the planned activities. Any venue restrictions or special requirements must be communicated to us at least 14 days before the event date.

Parents and guardians remain responsible for the supervision and safety of all children attending the event. Our team provides entertainment and coordination services but does not assume childcare responsibilities.

6. Liability and Insurance

Little Moments Co maintains comprehensive liability insurance for our events and activities. However, clients are responsible for ensuring that their venue insurance covers the planned activities and number of guests.

While we take every precaution to ensure safe and enjoyable events, we cannot be held liable for accidents, injuries, or damages that occur outside the direct scope of our service provision. Parents and guardians assume responsibility for their children's behavior and safety during events.

We are not liable for delays or cancellations due to weather conditions, venue issues, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. In such cases, we will work with clients to reschedule or modify services as appropriate.

7. Intellectual Property and Privacy

All creative designs, themes, and proprietary materials developed by Little Moments Co remain our intellectual property. Clients receive a license to use these materials for their specific event but may not reproduce or distribute them without written permission.

We may photograph or video record events for promotional purposes unless specifically requested otherwise in writing. Client privacy is important to us, and we will not use images of children without parental consent.

Client information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, and we do not share personal information with third parties except as necessary for service delivery.

8. Force Majeure

Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performance which is due to natural disasters, government actions, labor disputes, or other causes beyond the reasonable control of the performing party. This includes but is not limited to pandemics, extreme weather, or venue closures.

In the event of force majeure circumstances, we will work with clients to reschedule events when possible or provide appropriate refunds based on services already rendered and costs incurred.

9. Modifications to Terms

Little Moments Co reserves the right to modify these terms of service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

For significant changes that materially affect existing bookings, we will provide direct notification to affected clients with reasonable advance notice.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada and the province in which services are provided. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction in Canada.
